Designer Chuck Paine has pushed the fast performance requirements of Cabo Rico yachts even further without compromising our firm commitment to cruising yachts that are safe and comfortable in all conditions, yet swift and easy to handle at sea. Under the 40/42 is light, responsive, enthusiastic and fast. She handles like a racy fin keeler until the wind and waves built up. In 6 to 8 foot seas and 25-30 knots of wind, she has the feel, motion and stability of her larger sister, the CR45. Below there is a sensible sea-going interior with two private staterooms, good navigation station and many thoughtful features, including a special dish drying rack in the large galley.
