Boat Description

Mainship is taking the trawler into the next century, blending today’s technology and production techniques with the experience of crafting thousands of trawlers during the eighties. This new breed of trawler covers all bases, allowing you to cruise economically or clip off the miles up on plane.

Inside the spacious cabin is a lower helm station complete with full instrumentation. While under way in inclement weather your visibility is excellent with wraparound windows and windshield with wipers and washers. The salon features warm cherry highlighted by designer fabrics, color television with VCR, stereo and opening windows with screens. Deck access is made easy for short-handed cruising with a starboard helm sliding door. There is also a large screened sliding door to the cockpit. For your guests, a second stateroom features twin berths along with a hanging locker, storage and opening hatch and portlight. And finally, the easy cleaning, molded fiberglass head offers a built-in vanity, shower with stall, opening hatch, portlight, mirror and an electric marine toilet. The large master stateroom gives you a center island bed, cedar-lined hanging lockers, opening portlight and hatch, and again more storage.

Cockpit

Enjoying life on the water is easy with the 39 Trawler’s design. Starting on the flybridge, you have a huge area for entertaining or lounging, a center helm with great visibility, full instrumentation, plenty of room for electronics, seating for six+, drop-leaf table and a radar mast. You reach the deck by a wide molded stairway with full handrail. Your safety is an important concern, with access forward to the anchor protected by a high bulwark, walkaround deck. In the cockpit there is more than ample storage with deep wells and lazarette storage.

Below decks the power to travel is provided by standard single diesel power or optional twin diesels. Both include freshwater cooling, engine alarm system, and a standard fire extinguisher system. To make your docking easier, a bow thruster is standard on single engine boats and optional on boats with twin powerplants.
