Boat Description

For the offshore sailor, the Morris 52 provides an incredibly strong hull. Her vacuum-bagged Core-Cell sandwich construction is augmented by Kevlar/hybrid E-Glass and 100 percent vinylester resin to produce a brutally tough but sensibly lightweight structure. All fiberglass is unidirectional, with stitched (as opposed to woven) roving. The entire hull is additionally reinforced with Kevlar, for unmatched impact resistance. There is also a watertight bulkhead. Rudder and ruderpost are of high modulus carbon fiber. Belowdecks, the 52`s raised salon adds light and space, and makes possible any number of interior layouts. As with all Morris yachts, each Morris 52 can be customized to suit her owner.
