The design for the Packet Craft 360 Express has been inspired by the ruggedly handsome and highly capable pilot boats and surf rescue craft found along coastlines throughout the world. The design then evolved to combine the features and comforts expected in a contemporary family vacationer, along with the engineering, equipment and quality expected of an internationally respected yacht builder. Interior accommodations feature a large double island berth in the forward stateroom, a head with wraparound vanity, bulkhead mounted shower and doors to both the forward and main cabins, and a large settee in the main cabin with a drop leaf table that extends for dining or lowers to make a double berth. The galley features electric refrigeration, a combination electric and gas stove, microwave, and numerous storage areas and conveniences. Eight opening ports and three cabin top hatches provide lots of light and air below. The bridgedeck area features a six way adjustable double helm seat with footrests, complete instrument and control console, L-shaped lounge to port with removable table, sliding acrylic door and screen for access to the cabin, and opening side vent windows and overhead hatches. A cabinet with counter and sink are aft of the helm seat, with room for an ice maker under the adjacent lounge. The aft cockpit has a spacious L-shaped seating area, recessed alcove under the starboard side deck for connections to shore facilities, and a hinged transom door to access the stern platform. The foredeck features an integral anchor platform with roller, electric windlass with remote control, self-launching Delta anchor and all chain rode. Standard details such as double tapered prop shafts (bolted into both props and couplings), synchronized triple windshield wipers with wash systems, windshield defrosters, and a vacuum assist flush toilet typify the focus on quality and convenience throughout every aspect of the design and construction of the Packet Craft 360 Express.
