The Stamas 290 Tarpon is pure adrenaline for serious sportfishermen. A choice of twin outboard or single inboard engine packages will get anglers there quickly, while the legendary Stamas ride will make it comfortable. The 302-gallon fuel capacity provides plenty of range, even with the biggest outboards, and the inboard bow thruster makes docking a snap. The 290 Tarpon is loaded with fishing features including a combination leaning post and bait station with freshwater sink and recirculating livewell, three insulated overboard draining fishwells, and numerous tackle drawers. In fact, the 290 has 55 gallons of baitwell capacity. Like all Stamas boats, it has the comfortable, stable, and seaworthy ride one would expect, plus a large functional cockpit design that has revolutionized the center console concept.
