The World Cat 270 TE (Tournament Edition) utilizes the tried-and-true World Cat 270 Vectorflo hull design, the same hull that earned bragging rights for setting a new Miami to New York record run in 2001. The 270 TE is outfitted with an all-new deck. Engineered primarily for the rigors of tournament fishing, the new deck design would also be an excellent dive platform. Rated for twin 225HP engines, the 270 TE incorporates a unique walk through transom design providing a walkway to the platform and plenty of room for fish fighting. Two 34 gallon, lighted livewells keep your live bait separate and fresh. To maximize fishing room forward, the TE design has a totally open bow with a small molded step leading to the forward deck. Forward of the console is a 280 qt. insulated fish box that doubles as a cushioned seat. Coaming pads, positioned at hip level against the gunwale, run 360 degrees around the cockpit. A low profile grabrail around the bow area adds safety while reducing the possibility of snagged lines. Two 400 quart below deck rod lockers/fish boxes with overboard macerator pumps allow for plenty of secure storage. Factory pre-wiring for up to four batteries with two battery switches makes electronic installations easy. Standard fresh and raw water wash down systems, 10 gunwale mounted rod holders, four 12 volt receptacles, chrome-plated bronze exterior fittings and lights in all storage compartments completes the list of standard features.
