The Cornish Diva 36 is a striking luxury motor launch with a double berth forward and a sumptuous saloon and cockpit area for relaxing and entertaining. the classical elegance is matched by the steady performance of her semi-displacement hull shape which give a comfortable ride in most sea conditions at her preferred cruising speed.
The hull is moulded in GRP in a rich maroon with cream, teak laid decks. The hull is finished with a deep teak gunwale and sturdy capping. All deck fittings are stainless steel throughout. The overall appearance is classic and uncluttered with rounded lines at once appealing to the eye. The inside pilot position protects the helmsman from the elements whilst also allowing him to feel the benefit of full central heating (or air conditioning , if needed). There is room for two on the helm seat with additional seating to port of the companionway stairs.
Below decks, the style is understated and classy with an art deco influence. Light maple wood and frosted glass fittings are offset by a dramatic black leather settee and shot silk soft furnishings. A compact and well equipped galley allows for modest entertaining as well as comfortable cruising. The heads and shower compartment has full standing headroom whilst the generous forepeak double berth is easily accessed by rotating the eliptical inlaid dining table to one side.
The Cornish Diva 36 does not pretend to be a family cruising boat, but as a day boat or weekender for two people she is in a class of her own, turning heads wherever she goes. She does not look out of place in a Cornish creek nor in an Adriatic bay. The awning which comes as standard completely encloses the cockpit seating area creating extra living space or additional occasional berths.
