The Grady-White Tournament 185 dual console was designed especially to team up with Yamaha`s new mid-range 115 to 150 HP 4-stoke and High Pressure Direct Injection (HPDI) engines to create a top-performing but very affordable package. It offers customers a nice fishing platform, but the Tournament 185 clearly is more of a `family fun` boat. The Tournament 185 is an everyone-in-the-family, safe and fun boating experience that is great for lakes, rivers, sounds and inshore waters. The roomy bow with its comfortable seating is a highlight of the Tournament 185. There`s a nice storage area under the port bow seat and the starboard bow seat hides a handy 38-quart insulated cooler, great for sodas and refreshments for a day on the water. Grady`s trademark large cup holders (holds a soda can AND its coolie cup) are convenient to every seat aboard. The port console has a great storage area, with a nice big door so it`s easy to get things in there. The starboard console offers another roomy area for storage underneath. The helm station has very comfortable seating and easy-to-read backlit switches as well as a nice, heavy-duty stainless steering wheel. There`s an easy-to-reach drink holder, and charts, maps, sunscreen, sunglasses and miscellaneous items will find a home in the net storage area right at the helmsman`s knees. Another surprise is the standard 12V plug right at the helm that is good for extra lighting, charging cell phones, CD players and more. The first mate in the companion seat has his or her own drink holder handy, and the glove box is roomy and lockable. A very comfortable sleeper seat is a nice option to consider for companion seating. The back of the nearly 40-square-foot cockpit features two jump seats, port and starboard, with comfortable backrests. All the cleats aboard the Tournament 185 are recessed, helping to prevent bumps and bruises. A big 48-quart icebox is situated forward of the motor well.
