Although fairly traditional in looks, the President 830 Flybridge is built using the most advanced technologies. The bottom of the vessel has a 14-degree transom deadrise, not so flat that it runs hard in a chop, but not so sharp as to compromise stability. In fact, this vessel planes with hardly any bow-rise, even at top speeds. And she is amazingly smooth and quiet. When one of these vessels was sea-trialed in a four-foot chop, there was neither pitching nor pounding to be felt. The depth of the hull becomes more apparent as one steps on board via the bathing platform. There is a full-height door to access the twin crew cabin in the stern. Molded steps lead from the bathing platform to the spacious aft cockpit with ample space for sunbathing, and from there, sliding doors open up to the open-plan salon integrating bar and galley. Forward of the salon is the lower helm station with the latest in electronics. Starboard of the helm, steps lead down to the guest accommodation, featuring 2 twins and a double VIP cabin, with en suite complete with Jacuzzi. The full-width master stateroom is aft of the central engine room, with a large double bed and luxurious bathroom.
The President 830 would seem a big boat to handle in a tight Marina, but actually she handles like a dream, with her powerful bowthruster and gently engaging engines. There also is a third control station at the aft cockpit to facilitate maneuvering while docking. This President is a very versatile Motoryacht, which can fulfill many roles. Top speed is around 30 knots, depending on choice of machinery, and the level of home comforts offered surpass that of many other yachts much bigger in size.
