The 370 demonstrates Park Isle Marine`s commitment by offering a level of build quality and design detail seen only on much larger yachts. Designed by Victoria Naval Architect, Gregory C. Marshall and based on the proven Bill Garden Truant 37 hull, the 370 sets new parameters for pilot house sailing yachts. Performance under sail is not compromised by the requirement for full motor sailing capability.
The Royal Passage 370 has both inside and outside helmsman seats and the latter includes such features as hinged table for Al Fresco dining and high cockpit coamings giving good protection.
In keeping with the concept of providing accommodation normally seen on larger custom built yachts, Greg Marshall`s design firm created a truly unique and superbly functional layout. Entering the main salon, one is immediately impressed by the bright and airy feel created by all round windows, the white deck head and the light maple joinerwork. The inside helm station is on the starboard side with controls, navigation instruments and a hatch overhead to check the mast and sails and good visibility for and aft. From this position the helmsman can still socialize with the rest of the crew in the salon and not feel isolated. On the port side is a wrap around diner and lounge area with superb visibility.
