Originally created as the Cabo Rico 34 by world renowned naval architect W.I.B. Crealock, this boat also has grown into the Cabo Rico 36. Mr. Crealock has designed an extention to her stern creating a more graceful line and a large lazarette locker to better accommodate all the gear and equipment cruisers want. Her interior is spacious, airy and welcoming. The galley is arguably one of the largest and most efficient on any boat her size. The Cabo Rico 34/36 demonstrates that you can have the strength and feel of a modified full keel and still have a boat which is fun and spirited to sail. The cockpit and deck layouts are efficient. The hull form and true cutter sail plan are designed to be easy to handle, even single handed. The large fore triangle will permit the use of a big, light-weight headsail while the staysail balances her out beautifully in heavy weather.
