The Cornish Clam ( Category C) is a graceful motor launch based on the highly successful Cornish Shrimper sailing hull.
It has a quiet reliable 9 Hp diesel inboard engine and the facility for an additional outboard if required.
The elegant lines of the Clam have plenty of teak to give her a traditional look and she comes complete with a high standard of equipment and specification.
The cabin is spacious with two comfortable full length berths with an optional `V` double berth, ample storage, water container and cooker. A fully flushing seatoilet or chemical toilet can also be fitted on request.
The cockpit easily accommodates up to four adults and can be totally enclosed to provide further berths.
The Clam is ideally suitable for estuaries and rivers although its durable construction and its stability makes it an excellent sea going vessel.
The reliable and powerful 1GM10 9HP diesel inboard provides a steady 5.5 knots or an 18HP Yanmar may be fitted as an optional extra.
The engine can be easily accessed from the cabin for routine maintenance.
