The Crabber 22 has many features of the larger yachts built by Cornish Crabbers, whilst able to be towed behind a sturdy 4x4 vehicle. This gives the owner the versatility of the Shrimper 19 with almost as much cabin space as the Crabber 24. Twin gunwales are fitted as standard on the Crabber 22 whether the hull is a single colour or with a contrasting topstrake. The ingenious centreboard is designed to be raised or lowered single-handed and the canted bowsprit doubles as a pivot for raising and lowering the mast as well as saving money on marina berths. The powerful Yanmar 1GM10 diesel inboard engine delivers a gutsy 9 hp, while under sail the Crabber 22 is light and agile, often outpacing much larger yachts.
