The 195 FX is based off the 195 LX bowrider, but has built-in features that allow you to tailor it to the particular watersport you prefer at the moment. For instance, it appears to be a conventional open bow ski boat in its standard mode, but when you want to fish, the bow has a special center insert to accommodate a pedestal fishing seat. A second pedestal fishing seat can be inserted in the aft section by lifting the rear sunpad to reveal a carpeted casting platform with built-in socket pedestal.
The 195 FX has some additional secret weapons for the angler. Beneath the sectionalized full-width aft bench seat is a large livewell with an aerator for keeping bait and fish fresh. On either side of it are easy to clean storage compartments. In the cockpit you`ll find an integrated two-drawer tackle box to organize lures and accessories. Also, the 195 FX incorporates a bow-mount surface to accommodate most all models of trolling motors. A digital depth finder and compass are also available.
When it comes time to ski or board, you simply remove the fishing seats, put the sunpad back on, and hit it! Conversion time is quick and easy. The passenger`s bucket seat swivels around for comfortable ski observation. The integrated swim platform and aft sunpad make it easy to strap on a board or ski, and the recessed swim ladder and strategically placed stainless steel grab rail, not only make getting in and out of the water easy, but also prevents toe-stubbing. A hinged ski storage locker and a handy stainless steel ski-tow ring round out the 195 FX`s skiing features.
