The design of the Rodman 30 hull underwater, with a deep veer bow is very reliable when manoeuvring and is based on wide experience, both in estuary tests and on the open sea. The hull form combines high performance with excellent comfort when under way and good sea keeping which is a characteristic of RODMAN boats.
The 15º dead-rise, as well as the longitudinal position of the keel, have been optimised to minimize the pressure and friction resistance within the operating speeds. The arrangement of the spray rails contributes to lift and stability, as well as keeping the deck dry.
The hull of the boat is manufactured with materials mainly consisting of E glass fibre multi-axial reinforcements, laminated with polyester resin homologated for marine use.
