The interior design of the yacht promotes the latest Sunseeker interior styling. The design combines classic and recognisable details with a modern twist. The primary objective is to create a timeless elegant atmosphere utilising signature details and materials that best represent true luxury and comfort. In order to achieve this the design criterion is to accentuate the feeling of space, using light, textural materials and intelligent planning. Ultimately, the interior design considers both the physical needs together with the emotional experience, promoting the feeling of well-being. The specification of materials and finishes will be to Sunseeker Superyacht quality and will be consistently incorporated to enhance the quality of the interior design. Each design element is considered to achieve a seamless flow within the yacht. For this reason there is continuity in the architectural details designed with the understanding that each customer may have a requirement to personalise the interior. This can be achieved in the individual selection of soft finishes, accessories and certain lighting elements. Generally, all of the interior finishes will be natural. Lacquered timber, hard woods, granite, marble and leather all designed to further accentuate the sensation of luxury. All of the interior finishes will bear in mind durability, therefore soft finishes on bulkheads will be carefully specified to ensure ease of maintenance and cleaning.

The entire shell and the majority of the stiffening of the hull will be in hand laid FRP. All structural bulkheads will be produced from VARTM (Vacuum assisted resin transfer moulding). The hull topsides will be gelled in Sunseekers’ exclusive XL gel coat (based on isophthalic resin) to give the best possible weathering resistance and gloss retention. The hull below the waterline will be gelled with an NPG based gel coat. To optimise the resistance to osmotic blistering, the entire hull mould will have a skin coat of powder bound chopped strand mat with vinylester resin. A specially developed ‘spraycore’ material will then be applied to the hull topsides to minimise the print through of all subsequent material laid in to the mould. The remaining hull shell consists of a single skin laminate in the bottom using multi-axial reinforcements with a substantial increase in thickness in the keel area – hull sides will be of a sandwich type construction. Longitudinal stringers and deep girders will stiffen the hull shell – transverse bulkheads, FRP ringframes and watertight bulkheads in turn support these. The longitudinal stiffeners will be of unidirectional and multi-axial plies over non-structural foam formers in way of stringers and over PVC foam engine girders. Additional reinforcements are provided in way of the propeller shaft brackets, rudders, optional stabilisers and wherever there are concentrated loads requiring an increase in strength or stiffness.
