The combination of Rob Humpreys rig, hull lines and styling and arrangements plan from the Oyster Design Team have created a yacht with a stunning outboard profile with lots of curves. Her hull has been optimised to provide generous beam, not just amidships but both forward and aft helping create a really spacious interior. A soft entry for her forward sections and reasonably generous freeboard will help make the 72 dry in a seaway. A low centre of gravity modified bulb keel, linked with good hull form stability, gives the 72 a good righting moment, contributing to comfortable sea keeping.
